PROJECT OVERVIEW

For over 50 years, Copeland has continued their focus towards industry leading innovation while being a corporate leader in the development of Sidney and Shelby County. Formerly known as Emerson Climate Technologies, the Sidney facility has become its working headquarters and employs over 1,500 people.

In 2017, Copeland started the process of selecting a construction partner to see through their vision of updating their Sidney facility to attract the next generation of industry leaders. Copeland’s office additions were designed to be an efficient, modern workplace to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

This project was unique as it offered two different additions to the current space which included a 35,000 square foot, two story corporate office addition on the west side of the plant, and a 18,000 square foot infrastructure addition on the east side of the plant. This project was a plan spec project that was completed in a little over a year.
